Attorney Involvement

Indiana is 7th lowest state with incidence of attorney involvement in workers compensation, based on 1999 NCCI report.;

States with the lowest incidence of attorney involvement also have lower than average litigation in workers compensation. The states with the lowest percentage of attorney involvement are Utah (2.3%), Alaska (3.0%), Arizona (4.3%), Montana (4.6%), and Hawaii (5.0%). Other states with lower than average rates of attorney involvement are South Dakota (5.1%), Indiana (6.2%), Iowa (6.9%), New Mexico (6.9%) and Wisconsin (6.9%).
