A-Rate Elimination

All A-rated (average-rated) codes in Indiana were discontinued effective 5/1/95 per item filing B-1323.;

All A-rated (average-rated) codes in Indiana were discontinued effective 5/1/95 per item filing B-1323.

Three codes included a transition program to limit an individual insured's swing in rate from its current advisory rate. Swing limits are part of the annual rate filing and are found in Appendix B-III. The three codes and limits are shown in the table below. As an example, for code 3821, it is part of industry group IV, and the 1/1/96 limit reads "from 19% above to 31% below the current advisory rate."
